  • Jour 1: Ha Giang - Meo Vac - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Dong Van (L/D)
    • Votre aventure vietnamienne commence à 7h30 du matin, dans l'une des régions les plus reculées du Nord-Vietnam. Votre guide viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel à Ha Giang pour un voyage vers Dong Van. En chemin, vous passerez par Quan Ba et ses légendaires collines des Seins de la Fée, vous visiterez un bunker français datant de la colonisation et déjeunerez à Mau Due.
      Vous arriverez ensuite à Meo Vac pour commencer la première randonnée du voyage, une marche de 10 kilomètres à travers le col de Ma Pi Leng, une destination incontournable à Ha Giang. Vous vous promènerez dans la vallée, longeant les montagnes sinueuses, surplombant la rivière Nho Que, offrant des vues imprenables sur les vallées et les champs de chanvre en terrasses qui ornent les flancs des montagnes.
      Cette randonnée vous procurera des sensations uniques. Si vous ne souhaitez pas marcher, vous pourrez rester avec le chauffeur dans la voiture et descendre en zigzag le col jusqu'au bout du sentier, en vous arrêtant pour prendre des photos en cours de route.
      Arrivés à Dong Van, vous passerez la nuit dans un hôtel et dînerez dans un restaurant local.

  • Jour : Dong Van – Palais Vuong – Yen Minh – Ville de Ha Giang (B/L/D)
    • Si vous avez la chance de vous trouver à Dong Van un dimanche matin, ne manquez pas le marché hebdomadaire qui rassemble toutes les minorités ethniques locales. Vous pourrez flâner parmi la foule, assister au marché aux buffles, vaches et poulets, ou encore vous émerveiller devant les étals colorés de vêtements traditionnels.
      Après le marché, vous reprendrez la route vers Ma Le, une région mystérieuse. Vous pourrez choisir de vous rendre au point le plus au nord du Vietnam, Lung Cu, ou au palais de Vuong. Ce palais unique, résidence du roi Hmong, est un mélange d'influences chinoises, françaises et hmongues. Il a également servi de lieu de stockage secret d'opium pendant la colonisation française.
      Votre voyage se poursuivra ensuite vers Yen Minh, célèbre pour ses innombrables rizières en terrasses. Vous déjeunerez à Quan Ba avant de retourner à Ha Giang.

  • Jour : Trekking autour de Ha Giang (B/L)

    • Une journée de trek vous attend ! Après le petit déjeuner, vous partirez pour le village de Lung Vai (6 à 8 heures de marche). Admirez les paysages et rencontrez les habitants sur le chemin. Un pique-nique vous attendra à Khuoi My avant de rejoindre Ban Tha et votre chauffeur pour retourner à Ha Giang.

Great mix of trekking and motorbike

My friend and I really enjoyed the Ha Giang Secret Trails tour. They were extremely communicative in advance of the trip and were flexible and accommodating with our agenda. It was a good mix of trekking and road time, with amazing sights all along the way. We ended up customizing the trip so that we could do the first two days on motorbikes with Easy Riders and by car the last day, which I highly recommend if you have some extra budget. Customized trekking trip

This was a customized trekking tour and I loved it! I told the agency that although I enjoy touring around towns, I preferred high physical activity like mountain climbing, so they prepared a 2D1N trekking tour in the mountains of Ha Giang. This also fit so well with my only time off from work (Saturday and Sunday). They arranged my female tour guide, the homestays in Ha Giang and the mountains and all the meals. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough, Helen who works for the company was amazing. Her infinite patience and help to soothe anxieties faced when traveling with two children was incredible.

The tour was amazing and we felt safe and confident with our drivers. The homestays were excellent and everyone was kind and friendly. I was worried about the night bus but it was great and Helen helped with ensuring everything ran smoothly.

Beautiful and very impressive 3 day tour

We, two girls and a 7 year old child from Germany had a wonderful time in the Ha Giang area together with our tour guide Nha and driver Bao. This area is one of the last remote areas in Vietnam for tourists still to discover. The mountainous scenery is impressive and people are very colorful and friendly. Nha and Bao did everything to condense the most important sights (Ha Giang - Dong Van, Meo Vac Valley, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Opium Palace and, Yen Minh, Duong LAM Village) within those 3 day...Read Mores including 6 hour travel from and to Hanoi. We stayed at a local H‘mong family to get some insights into their daily live. Three days is definitely the minimum you should stay in that area. However, to experience the region at its best I would recommend a 5 day trekking tour. In order not to loose time I would also recommend to take the nightbus from Hanoi, which is very comfortable.
Nha is a very experienced tour guide, providing you an adventurous travel and showing you the best spots to take the marvelous pictures. Bao is a very reliable driver never reluctant to stop on the way to take pictures.
