7:00 - 7:30 - Prise en charge dans le vieux quartier de Hanoi
Départ de votre hôtel dans le vieux quartier de Hanoi. Votre voyage commence par un trajet pittoresque vers Hai Phong via la voie rapide (environ 2 heures).

9:30 - Ferry/bateau rapide pour l'île de Cat Ba
Prenez un ferry rapide ou un hors-bord pour l'île de Cat Ba (environ 30 minutes). Une fois à bord de votre luxueuse croisière, vous serez accueilli avec une boisson de bienvenue rafraîchissante et un briefing complet sur la sécurité.

10h30 - Croisière et kayak
Naviguez dans les eaux tranquilles de la baie de Lan Ha, en vous émerveillant devant les karsts calcaires à couper le souffle et les eaux vert émeraude. Faites du kayak dans des lagons cachés, explorez des grottes mystérieuses et nagez dans des eaux pures.

12:30 - Déjeuner sur la croisière
Savourez un délicieux déjeuner vietnamien à bord de la croisière, en vous régalant des saveurs locales fraîches tout en profitant des vues panoramiques.

13:30 - Randonnée à vélo vers le village de Viet Hai
Débarquez au village de Viet Hai et embarquez pour une balade à vélo (environ 20 minutes) à travers la campagne pittoresque. Plongez dans l'ambiance paisible du village, interagissez avec les habitants sympathiques et découvrez leur mode de vie traditionnel.

15:00 - Croisière de retour au port de Beo
Alors que la journée touche à sa fin, retour en bateau au port de Beo pour se détendre sur le pont soleil.

15:30 - Ferry/bateau rapide pour Hai Phong
Transfert de retour à Hai Phong en ferry ou en hors-bord.

16:00 - Retour à Hanoi en voiture
Terminez votre voyage par un confortable trajet de retour vers Hanoi.

I can highly recommend Mr Linh's Adventures and our Travel Consultant Helen. From first contacting Helen I knew we were in good hands, she expertly managed our expectations to maximise our time without over stretching the itinerary. Helen crafted a bespoke 7 night plan that incorporated Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba Island and Lan Ha Bay with private guides as well as free time so we could explore under our own steam.

Accommodation included hotels, homestays and a cruise on Lan Ha Bay and all were excellent.

Our dietary requirements (two of us are gluten and dairy free) were communicated to all involved in our trip and we were very well catered for.

Whilst we were on Cat Ba Island sailing was postponed due to a tropical storm which meant staying an extra night over and above our tour arrangements. Helen negotiated a great rate at the hotel we were already at, so there was no need to change accommodation or even rooms and ensured our return to Hanoi went smoothly once we could sail again the following day.

Last minute add on's to our Hanoi part of the trip were seamlessly added in and having some extra time in Ho Chi Minh City Helen arranged a private tour to the Chu Chi Tunnels.

Our guides and drivers were all excellent, and we cannot praise them enough, particularly with how engaging they were with our children (ages 10 & 12). The local and national knowledge they shared was brilliant and we left them with a much richer knowledge of Vietnam.

We spent a total of two weeks in Vietnam and Helen took care of over half of our holiday. Booking our trip North this way took all of the stress out of it and we are so glad we did.

Cat Ba and Lan Ha Bay!

This was a truly special trip. We wanted to avoid the commercial Halong Bay and this trip definitely took you off the beaten track. The trek through Cat Ba Island was challenging and rewarding. We enjoyed the stay in Viet Village at the Whisper Homestay. Mung was our fantastic Cat Ba Island guide. He took us to the top of Navy Peak early the next morning for amazing views over the Bay. We then jumped on bikes down to the harbour for our day and night on a boat sailing around Lan Ha Bay. It was beyond our expectations. We loved the kayaking and the kids enjoyed jumping off the boat! The hospitality from Sing and the crew was so friendly. Thank you so much for the memories.

Fantastic North and Central Vietnam travel plan

Helen at Mr Linh’s adventure tours arranged the most amazing custom trip for me and my daughter - it combined some group trips (to Ninh Binh), and private trekking guides (in Cat Ba park and My Son) and was the perfect way to see the north and central part of Vietnam. I took the 3D-2N Cat Ba National Park trip and would recommend this company. The trip was great value for money and I was able to customise it completely.

Helen assisted me and was absolutely amazing - she was so helpful and responsive both before and during my trip even with lots of requests. I did 2 days of trekking in the Cat Ba National Park including walking up Navy Peak - the scenery is incredible and it’s so peaceful (wear proper hiking boots if you’re considering it though). There was also a 1hr boat trip to Cat Ba Town - also stunning. I stayed in Viet Hai village at a bungalow which I would also really recommend - the staff there were so nice and friendly and the setting is beautiful. I had great vegetarian food the whole time as well.

I would really recommend this company and especially Helen for all her amazing work :)

100% reliable, professional and trustful agency! Best choice of people. We arranged a customized package with the agency with multiple activities. We combined three packages: "Motorbiking from Hanoi - Vu Linh to Be lake 4 days 3 nights", "3-day Kayaking and Trekking in Ba Be National Park" and a 3-day Cruise, Trekking and Kayaking in Cat Ba . The communication during organizing the tour was immediate and professional. We believe that we had the best guide, who was with us all days. We felt safe all the time for everything. We had support for everything we needed. The food was excellent. Staying homestay was a fantastic experience. Following their advice we avoided most of the days the touristic places and it was the BEST choice! We had the opportunity to live the nature and the people from inside as much we could. Our guide open to us the "doors" and riding and walking was nice way to that. We wish to come back and definitely we RECOMMEND the MR LINH'S ADVENTURES!!!

Fantastic custom made trip, wonderful flexible English speaking knowledgeable guide

Leaving Hanoi we were collected at the hotel by shuttle bus & went to Cat ba national park hiked for approximately 3-4hours to a homestay where we spent our first night, the second day we travelled to Halong bay stayed overnight on a “cruisie” which my daughter and I had to ourselves. The captain preparing the freshest taste bud tingling food for us, you would struggle to get that kind of quality in many restaurants.Views from the boat amazing.
Second part of the trip again started from Hanoi, private car to BaBe national park, our guide was a young man called Mia tu (mike) who we could not recommended highly enough, he was with attentive, knowledgeable flexible and sensitive to our privacy you would be lucky to have him as a guide. Fantastic trekking and stay with a local family, scenery was breathtaking. Beautiful part of the world, if you do go to Vietnam, we would recommend you travel with Mr Linh

Cat Ba Overnight Cruise

Wonderful 24h cruise in Cat Ba / Halong on a private jonque for our family of five.
We very much appreciated navigating in areas of Halong Bay completely free of tourists, enjoying the majestic beauties of this region. The food on the boat was delicious. The logistics to and from Hanoi were very easy and well organized. No bad surprises at any point.
