What is a Geopark?

A UNESCO Global Geopark is a territory featuring geological sites and landscapes of international importance. Its holistic management aims to protect and enhance this heritage while promoting sustainable economic development of local communities, notably through geotourism and environmental education.

Why hike in Vietnam's geoparks?

Hiking in Vietnam's Geoparks means immersing yourself in a mosaic of landscapes: karst plateaus, volcanic mountains, caves, waterfalls, and terraced rice fields. Another particularly important asset is meeting local ethnic communities, discovering their traditions, and understanding the geological history of these unique places. And finally, the trails, suitable for all levels, promise a peaceful and enriching adventure.
