  • Day 1: Hanoi - Vu Linh, 180 km, 5hr ride (L/D)
    • Leaving Hanoi and breaking out of the delta plains, we pass through endless limestone karst scenery as we travel south through “Thay Pagoda”, country and extensive farming lands comprising a sea of paddy fields split by tree-lined roads. Arrive in Vu Linh in late afternoon, here we stay overnight with friends of the Dao's minority in a traditional stilt house.

  • Day 2: Vu Linh - Ba Be National Park, 200km, 7hr ride (B/L/D)
    • This Motorbike Tour in Vietnam offers two options : one takes us around the very end of the Song Gam mountain range, enjoying good riding on winding sealed mountain roads; the other crosses over the very end of the range and takes us through untarnished rain forest on challenging, rocky road. The Song Gam mountain range is the main range of northeast Vietnam.

      From Tuyen Quang we continue on sealed road through renowned tea growing areas, where the hillsides are literally covered in plantations, From here it’s a short ride to the edge of Ba Be lake, Overnight homestay in the Tay's family.

  • Day 3:Ba Be - Quang Uyen, 170km, 6hr ride (B/L/D)
    • We leave Ba Be by a fantastic mountainous road, leading us along scattering high limestone formations and heavily forested hills. Further north is Cao Bang province, a remote area on the border with China. Cao Bang is sparsely populated. It has several ethnic communities in villages hardly affected by tourism. Cao Bang is famous for its graceful mountains, grottos and streams. Arrive in Quang Uyen in Late after noon. Overnight in family of the Nung's peoples.

  • Day 4:Quang Uyen - Lang Son, 160km, 5 hr ride (B/L/D)
    • Today we travel back in time - we go back to Indochina by driving the famous Colonial Road No. 4, where we pass villages like Dong Khe and That Khe. This place is well-known for its countless bloody fights during the 1950s between Viet Minh and the French Force.

      In the late afternoon, we arrive in Lang Son city and discover the central market. This market offers divers Chinese products as Lang Son is the trade-gateway between China and Viet Nam. Before checking in our hotel in Lang Son, we bring an interesting visit to Tam Thanh and Nhi Thanh grottos.

  • Day 5:Lang Son - Ha Long Bay, 180km, 4hr ride (B/L/D)
    • Ride to Halong bay through the lush of Red River vegetation. Arrival Halong bay pier and check-in registration, board our boat for a stunning cruise amongst towering limestone back while enjoying lunch on board.

      The cruise will take you by exotic islets with shapes of Dog, Incense Urn, Sail, Fighting Cocks, which are naturally formed by process of erosion between the see water and limestone mountains. Get back to Halong City, Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 6:Halong Bay - Hanoi, 170km, 4hr ride (B, L)
    • A new day wake you up with joys and emotions in an early morning for watching sunrise on sea. We ride back to Hanoi by taking many trails going through the red river Delta. Arrive in Hanoi by 5 pm, tour ends.

Most trips just take you straight on the lame hot, boring, high traffic highways to the spots, but Hue and Ý led us through such diverse towns and countryside, with every type of road, trail, and terrain you can imagine...Read More!

From crazy cities, towns, and villages with their busy streets, tight alleyways, random animals everywhere; to high speed twisties up and down the mountains, country roads seeing the local life, being welcomed and awed by everyone we saw with the dual sports; to jungle forest trails with random muds pits, jumps, rock climbing; to chill straights out in the open taking in all the memorizing beauty of Vietnam.

They made sure we had the best time, 24/7 for 6 days straight. They'd watch what we are already knew a out riding, what we could learn, and throw it all at us, everyday! They made sure we enjoyed what we were already good at, and also throw us some challenges everyday! I loved the diversity and we saw and experienced it all.

They are some of the most passionate and hard working guys I've ever met! They were our coaches, guides, mechanic, and friends, teaching us about their country and riding. Some days we got to points we didn't know how the we'd make it though, but we all helped eachother and made it. We spent our evenings with them having drinks, laughing about the rides, and taking just talking about life and our passions.

A great holiday in north east Vietnam with Mr linhs advertures. We had a party of 4 and a private tour with Vui Tri Nha as our personal guide and driver was Mr luang.
I did a lot of research and put together the places we wanted to vist and was well rewarded with a reasonable price and an excellent tour.

North east Vietnam runs a lot of the time along the Chinese border and we really felt like we saw some fantastic places with very authentic villagers. So if you want to get away from the tourist hoards this is the area to get to that still retains some traditional ways of living along with entirely different scenery
Scenery was beautiful, stunning and very photogenic. Villages very friendly and lovely to see their way of life
