- 8:30 to 9:00: your day begins as you are picked up from your hotel nestled in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter, to embark on an unforgettable journey to Halong Bay. The route meanders through the enchanting landscapes of Hanoi, Haiphong, and the scenic Tuan Chau Highway, treating you to a captivating 2.5-hour drive.

Upon reaching Tuan Chau Harbor at noon, that's when the real fun begins! Hop on the cruise, and let the exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage site commence. Lunch is served on deck, featuring a tasty set menu/buffet with all sorts of Halong specialties. As you chow down, soak in the stunning views on both sides—think limestone formations like the Fighting Chicken and Incense Burner Islets, iconic symbols of Halong Bay.

- 2:00 PM, your journey takes you to Bo Hon Island, where the awe-inspiring Sung Sot Cave awaits exploration. Admire the intricate formations of stalagmites and stalactites, marveling at the cave's natural beauty.

- 2:45 PM, engage in an adventure of kayaking or take a bamboo boat ride through Luon Cave, revealing the enchanting beauty of a hidden lagoon.

I did my whole vietnam itinerary with them which includes 3 day Hanoi, 1 day Ha long bay tour, and 3 day Ha giang loop. And everything was great!!! Helen was so helpful at every step when i needed help and all of my tour guides were the best! I highly recommend Mr. Linh’s adventure if you are looking to spend very quality time in Vietnam.

Day tour to Halong Bay

We experienced the breath-taking views of Halong Bay with the day tour organized by Mr. Linh's Adventures. At the Hanoi Office, Helen and Nam were very professional, they explained the several options we had and helped us our tour. Our small group, consisted by 10 travelers plus our great tour guide Eric and our driver, started off from Hanoi by mini van and it took not more than 2 hours to get to the area of Halong Bay. Our tour guide was very informative, witty and helpful in every detail with very good English. The tour was well organized, the meal was good (fresh fish and a ion of finger food) but the scenery was everything! One should be actually there to experience the magnificence of this place. A big thank you to the staff of Mr. Linh's Adventures! We will surely be back some day!

We had a fantastic 5 days travelling north east of Hanoi. Loi as an outstanding guide, going to a lot of effort to engage and entertain us (including leading us in a couple of rounds of karaoke on the mini van), as well as explaining the history and various cultures within Vietnam. I would highly recommend this tour and Loi as the guide.

We stumbled on this company by sheer accident while walking past the company. What a lucky find!
Collected from our hotel, private car, experienced happy driver, private boat with amazing seafood lunch and without doubt the best travel guide Loi.
We were taken to parts of the bay affording the most amazing scenery but more importantly avoiding the cluster of other tour boats wherever possible.
From avoiding queues, sugar cane juice bought for us after exiting very hot caves, hints on tipping for the bamboo boat ride and advice on other things to see for the rest of our stay to name but a few, it was the attention to detail that was so special.
Loi was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous but also never invaded our privacy.
Let's face it, you can have a good time visiting this place with travel company but if you want a truly memorable experience that you will be talking about for years you have to use this one.
The difference between the day we had a what we saw other tourists having was chalk and cheese.
We left feeling completely satisfied with our trip but wanting to do many many more on our next holiday.
We will definitely be using this company again.

We travelled with Mr Linh's Adventures through Vietnam during 2 1/2 weeks and experienced some grandiose and very impressive moments. Although we contacted Mr Linh only 3 weeks before our holiday he gave us very useful advice and, together with his staff, set up an individual tour that met all our demands. We had private drivers and guides nearly all over the time - safe drivers and very competent guides with a profound knowledge of their region and its history, in particular Mr Minh who travelled with us from Hanoi to the dry and the wet Halong Bay and through the northern mountains. He was not only a very nice and professional guide (he knows a lot of the ethnic people in the north, but also of plants and animals, and he always was open to spontaneous ideas) but also shared with us some private experiences making such a trip much more interesting and colourful. And when we forgot some of our valuables in a hotel he very quickly organised a safe way to get them back. He knows the north of Vietnam very well, even the quite unknown northeastern part next to the Chinese border - still a quite non-touristic region with lots of ethnic minorities that we liked so much and where we would have liked to stay longer if we just had had more time for our holiday. We just can recommend Mr Linh and his staff! The organisation of our trip and the staff was perfect!

Fantastic custom made trip, wonderful flexible English speaking knowledgeable guide

Leaving Hanoi we were collected at the hotel by shuttle bus & went to Cat ba national park hiked for approximately 3-4hours to a homestay where we spent our first night, the second day we travelled to Halong bay stayed overnight on a “cruisie” which my daughter and I had to ourselves. The captain preparing the freshest taste bud tingling food for us, you would struggle to get that kind of quality in many restaurants.Views from the boat amazing.
Second part of the trip again started from Hanoi, private car to BaBe national park, our guide was a young man called Mia tu (mike) who we could not recommended highly enough, he was with attentive, knowledgeable flexible and sensitive to our privacy you would be lucky to have him as a guide. Fantastic trekking and stay with a local family, scenery was breathtaking. Beautiful part of the world, if you do go to Vietnam, we would recommend you travel with Mr Linh

Wonderful 24h cruise in Cat Ba / Halong on a private jonque for our family of five.
We very much appreciated navigating in areas of Halong Bay completely free of tourists, enjoying the majestic beauties of this region. The food on the boat was delicious. The logistics to and from Hanoi were very easy and well organized. No bad surprises at any point.

We were met by Kimmy, a beautiful young lady who helped us plan and set us up with all the information. The cruse itself was great and the people we were with were really good fun. And I know Mr Linh 's adventure travel from her.

During my incredible journey in Vietnam, I had the opportunity to use their services and I am very grateful that I did as their recommendations were tailor made and met my expectations. From the boat trip in Halong Bay to Sapa, visiting Babe Lake, Ban Gioc water fall, I could not praise enough their professional and attentive service. They are knowledgeable about the various excursions, travel arrangements and accommodations they offer. We spent 5 days on the Highlights and Hidden Gems of Halong Bay and Ba Be tour with our guide Mr David Long and our driver Mr Nam. We were a bit apprehensive to begin with as we are usually independent travellers however we absolutely loved the experience for its authenticity, flexibility and accessibility to areas and people we would not normally have had access to. This is a tour company offering exceptional service right from the beginning of the booking process to the end and the off at our hotel. All emails were responded to promptly, as well as punctual pick up from our hotel, and regular communication about the day’s intended itinerary. Our guide - Mr Long is a very passionate, informed, flexible, and humorous man who cares deeply about his country and ensuring visitors have an exceptional time on tour. If he is aware of any special interests, he goes out of his way to deliver in those areas. Our driver was Mr Nam who always had a big smile to greet us and whose driving skills were of a high quality given the sometimes difficult terrain. Together they make a perfect team and they’re passion, enthusiasm and humour was contagious! They made our experience of Vietnam an unforgettable one, from unique homestay experiences with local people which happened to fall on Vietnamese National Day giving us a rare insight into special treats being prepared by the local community, wonderful and abundant amounts of local authentic Vietnamese food, great local knowledge and insight, stops to visit local markets, and of course experiencing the majestic views of Northern Vietnam! Long distances to cover in the vehicle but a very comfortable ride with amazing views and ample time to stop and take photographs when desired. If anything, we would have cut out the trip to Halong Bay (disappointed with the amount of tourists and pollution) and spent more time at Ba Be National Park. All accommodation was clean and comfortable including homestay although mattress is on the floor for anyone with joint problems! Thank you and we will be back!!! Louise & Simon, Australia

From the moment we booked our toor, Mr Linh was very helpful and flexible! The driver and guide were amazing, responsible, thoughtful and very professional!
Allways punctual and very knowledgable.
My wife and I started in Hanoi where they picked us up from the airport, we spent one night in Hanoi and even though we didnt have much time available on the day we arrived Long (our guide) arranged for some funny and nice walks and activities.
We then headed to Ha longn bay for the boat trip (with another company) and after 2 nights away Long was punctual to pick us up from the port! They drove us to Ninh Binh and we spent the most amazing time in Vietnam there! We went canoing through amazing caves, ate delicious food and saw the best natural scenarios! Long was absolutely key in making our trip so special as well as our driver Nam that drove super safe and responsibly all the time, also the second night the power was off in our neighbourhood so they immediately chaged our hotel upgrading us to an amazing 4 star hotel. After 3 days they drove us to the airport.
We definitely recommend Mr Linh's!
The price is not cheap but is def worth it for the safety and all the fun!
