Review of: Adventure Tour to Ban Gioc Waterfall - Ba Be Lake 3 days 2 nights
Paying the extra money for a tour is 100% worth it in my eyes. We had only been in Vietnam 3 days before going on our tour and it makes a huge difference on how you see everything around you. It helps you ease into the culture very easily. Our tour guide, Eddie, spoke very good English and was a very kind man. He was very knowledgeable on everything we went to see and went past. We got to see the culture and lifestyle of the families in this village and it was amazing. The views of the places we went to were also incredible. The food we ate was delicious and there was plenty of it too. There is quite a bit of driving but the van was comfortable and the driver was very good and smooth. Could easily take quick naps while on the road. The tour was out of our budget but was 100% worth the money. Staying in lovely places, eating heaps of lovely food, gaining insight into Vietnamese culture and way of life and seeing jaw ping sights. Suitable for all ages aswell, we are a young couple and had the best time and we were with a middle aged couple who loved it too. Mr Linhs Adventures are a great company and I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Excellent Ban Gioc falls/ Ba be Lake tour
Review of: Adventure Tour to Ban Gioc Waterfall - Ba Be Lake 3 days 2 nights
After competing with the hordes of other tourists at Sapa, Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay, Cao Bang Province was extremely refreshing. Yes it's a long way by road to get up to the border with China to see the Ban Gioc falls, and another long day on the bus to get back to Hanoi. For me the beauty of the area in general (not only the falls/ cave/ lake that are the highlights), and fewer tourists, made that worthwhile.
However what really made the difference was the fantastic ...Read Moreorganisation of our itinerary by Nginh (I know I've spelt that incorrectly). He changed our accommodation on night 1, as he could see we were an older group and would be grateful for some creature comforts. This also meant that we were closer to the falls the next morning, so had a more leisurely morning than we otherwise would have had. We were the first and only people in the Nguom Ngao cave the next morning, and there were very few other tourists at Ban Gioc falls when we arrived. By the time we left the crowds were growing. THIS is good planning, and I appreciated it.
The other thing I appreciated was Nginh's concern that my physical limitations shouldn't prevent me from experiencing everything on offer. He encouraged me to take part when I was concerned I'd be too slow for the group. And often he held my hand to ensure I felt safe on stairs with no handrails.
He's very passionate about the region, and often took photos along with us, even though he travels there as often as once a week.
And to top the trip off we had Bao driving us. He was excellent. He handled the Hanoi traffic, the long days, and even a dodgy back road that was having roadwork done on it, with skill and good humour.

Wonderful tour
Review of: Ha Giang Hiking Trails 5 days 4 nights
The tour was wonderful, exactly what we had hoped for. The accommodations, activities and food were just right. Mr Long was a very good driver and Eddie was a terrific guide. I am so happy to have spent time with them on such a nice tour. Thanks to everyone at Mr Linh's for putting together such a nice tour.

Cat Ba and Ba Be trek five day tour

The tour was very spectacular and felt very raw and authentic. More importantly this trip would not have been the same without our incredible guide Lam. He is very knowledgable about plants which made the walks that more interesting and is always very happy and positive. The tour is well organised and everywhere we stayed was very nice.

Review of: Phong Nha National Park Day Tour
We recently travelled from the North to South Vietnam over 13 days with a private tour guide throughout. We had booked our flights and had some idea of what we wanted to see but contacted Mr LInh Adventures who came up with an itinerary to suit and it was all brilliant. We had a local tour guide at each area we traveled starting with Billy who met us at Hanoi airport and whose knowledge and friendliness was great and a perfect start to our welcome in to Vietnam. We had the highlights of ...Read MoreHanoi in 1 day and then followed on to Lan Ha Bay for an overnight cruise with Calypso then met the following day and drove to Ninh Binh for an overnight stay and then a day in the Tam Coc countryside before boarding an overnight train (met by next guide Hoa, to Phong Nha and spending a day at the national park (zip wire, dark cave, mud bath and paradise cave) over night at the lake house and then a day travelling to Hue via the Vinh Moc tunnel and crossing North to South. Next day greeted by Long and a day around Imperial Citadel, tombs, local market overnight in Hue and then on to Elephant Springs, Golden Bridge in Ba Na Hills and on to Hoi An. Next day met by Miss Phuong with a day round the local Tra Que Village on bikes (stunning local area) and then she accompanied us the next morning to DaNang airport. Met in Ho Chi Minh by Chin who accompanied us around Ho Chi Minh City, the following day to Mekong Delta and last day to Cu Chi Tunnels. The itinerary was action packed each day but with very informative local guides giving you the best out of your limited travel time and lunch was included where they booked you in to the local restaurants that they recommend and had some lovely local specialty foods. Don't feel we would have been able to see anywhere near as much had we tried to arrange things ourselves individually and also had the knowledge that they were their to assist with any problems that may occur. We had a fantastic trip and wouldnt hesitate to use again if and when we return to visit Vietnam as there is still so much to see. Ideally 3 weeks would be good to include Sapa, 2 nights on cruise at Halong Bay, more time in Hoi An for leisure time and beach (such a pretty area).

We gave Mr Linh an outline of places we wished to see and asked for him to suggest an itinerary and organise local hotels, transport and guides. Review of: Mekong Delta Day Tour
We did the Mekong River 2 night 3 day tour with Mr. Linh's adventures. I highly recommend this amount of time to get a real feel for the delta. We saw everything from industry, large barges, freight being hauled to a canoe on the quiet small waterway canals. We did a bike ride in the countryside. You need to take the time. We had beautiful sunsets and complimentary foot massages.
The crew were hard working and delightful.

We were on a big junk called the Le Cochinchine. It had 10 staterooms. Small staterooms but comfortable. You are busy all day and outside in the evening on the deck so the room is just fine for sleeping.
All in all the tour is very worthwhile and Kevin at Mr. Linh's Adventures was very helpful in organizing our time on board.
