  • Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
    • The tour is split into a morning and afternoon schedule with a tasty lunch in between!

      At 8:30 you are invited to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda –  the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century. After that your journey will be continued with the visit Ho Chi Minh complex including a tour of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. The visits continue with the Temple of Literature, the first University of Vietnam dated from the 16th century. The morning will end with a tour of Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam

      After a good satisfying lunch in one of Hanoi’s famous restaurants, we will visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century

      We will take you on a walking tour around Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple, which honors General Tran Hung Dao in the 13th century.

  • Day 3: Hanoi – Bai Chay - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
    • The journey begins in Hanoi, heading to Halong International Cruise Port in Bai Chay town. After a refreshing break at the lounge, passengers embark on the Oriental Sails cruise, where you are welcomed with a drink and safety guidelines. Lunch is served while cruising through the stunning Halong Bay, followed by an anchor at Titop Island. Highlights include a visit to Sung Sot Cave and the panoramic view from the peak of Titop Island. The evening features sunset views, happy hours, a cooking demonstration, and dinner. Activities continue with squid fishing, karaoke, or relaxation in cabins.

  • Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)
    • Start your day with the Tai-chi lesson at dawn and breakfast amid the Karst landscape. A guided tour explores the hidden Luon cave, allowing passengers to share a sampan or kayak. After returning to Oriental Sails for a shower, passengers check out, and the cruise continues towards Bai Chay Bridge for photo opportunities. Lunch is served before disembarkation, marking the end of the cruise. The journey concludes with a transfer back to Hanoi City, reaching the hotel by approximately 16:30.

  • Day 5: Hanoi - Flight to Hue (B)
    • Enjoy a nice breakfast at the hotel, and then transfer to the airport for your flight to Hue. Upon arrival at Hue, a driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal for sightseeing and relaxing.

  • Day 6: Hue City Tour - Group tour - Overnight in Hue (B/L)
    • Starting at 8:00 AM, you'll be picked up from your Hue hotel and embark on a dragon boat to the serene Thien Mu Pagoda. At 9:15 AM, you'll delve into the historical grandeur of the Imperial Citadel. By 11:30 AM, you'll experience the vibrant atmosphere of Dong Ba Market. After a satisfying lunch at a local restaurant at 12:15 PM, the afternoon will be dedicated to exploring the magnificent Minh Mang Tomb and the enigmatic Khai Dinh Tomb, concluding around 3:30 PM. The tour will wrap up with a visit to the captivating Conical Hat and Incense Making Village at 4:00 PM, followed by a drop-off at your hotel in Hue city center.

  • Day 7:  Transfer to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass – Visit My Son Sanctuary - Overnight Hoi An (B/L)
    • At 10:00 AM, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a three-hour drive to Hoi An City. We’ll make a 15-minute stop at Hai Van Pass to enjoy the stunning views. Upon arrival in Hoi An, we will have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. 
      In the afternoon, we will head to My Son Sanctuary. With our guide, you will explore the beauty of My Son. In 1999, My Son Holy Land was named and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sightseeing My Son, travelers will have the opportunity to learn about the culture and architecture of the Champa Ancient Kingdom. You will also have a chance to enjoy the rite and see the Ancient Champa dance restored by the local government. 
      After exploring My son, we will come back to Hoi An by boat along the Thu Bon River to have a new feeling and experience. We hope that it will help you have sweet and unforgettable memories.
      On the way to Hoi An, we will be transferred by boat, we will stop to visit Kim Bong Carpentry Village. Here, you will be surprised at the wonderful products created by the hands of the artists.

  • Day 8: Hoi An – Flight to Ho Chi Minh (B/L)
    • Today you will embark on a walking tour through Hoi An’s historic heart. Our guide will lead you to visit some famous places such as the Japanese Bridge, Kwan Temple, Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall and Tan Ky Old House,.. Besides, you can have an opportunity to see the numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made- to- order clothes if you like around Hoi An old oldtown.
      Savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before your afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon landing at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, our driver will be ready to escort you to your hotel.

  • Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnel (B/L)
    • Morning, Ho Chi Minh City tour. We start the trip by these famous places: Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. (Drop you off at Ben Thanh Market for shopping if we have enough time). Afternoon, leave Ho Chi Minh for Cu Chi. Arrival at Cu Chi tunnel, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Today, ducks and water buffalos happily coexist in the rivers along the side of the road. However, the peaceful rural rice paddy scenery belies the area’s violent history. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a “Free Target Zone”. Go back to the city.

  • Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L)
    • At appointed time (approx 07:30 to 08:30), our guide will greet you at the hotel's lobby before transfering you directly from Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy scenic ride out of the city.
      Watch rice paddies flecked with charming farms pass by as you make your way to the quaint fishing village of My Tho. Board a boat bound for the islands of the Tien River, and then cruise to Ben Tre to check out dense coconut groves. Taste decadent coconut candies and sip hot mugs of honey tea before grabbing a scrumptious lunch featuring freshly caught fish and river shrimp.
      Spend your afternoon watching folk music performances and walking around the countryside. At
      night, take a quick ride to Can Tho where you can turn in for the night at a cozy hotel.

  • Day 11: Cai Rang floating market – Ho Chi Minh City – Group tour (B/L)
    • Start your day with a hearty breakfast, pack up your things, and head out to weave through the local vendors of Cai Rang Floating Market. Weave through rows of boats loaded with everything from fresh produce to vintage jewelry, browsing for souvenirs and haggling with locals as you go. Watch dextrous noodle makers create delicate vermicelli, visit a local village, and get the chance to test your balance as you cross the river on a bamboo span known locally as a "monkey bridge".
      After visiting the vibrant floating market, check out and disembark before visiting Con Son Islet, an islet in the middle of the Hau River that is divided from the mainland nearby and is home to year-round alluvial consolidating green orchids as well as the kind, affable, and enthusiastic people.
      Lunch on this island, featuring a variety of dishes. After finishing the lunch, board the boat back to the mainland. Doing some last-minute shopping at Can Tho Market, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda and then take a final ride back to Ho Chi Minh City, where you can get dropped off at your  hotel.

All accomodations were fully satisfacturing.
All guides were good, but especially the young girl that took os on the 2 day tour in the Mekong delta was excellent.
Only one restaurant arranged by you was a little disapointing and that was the one where we had lunch at our first day tour, the sightseeing in Hanoi where we also visited ethnical museum.

* HOTEL:
Since we have slept in six different hotels (inkl one boat) it is hard to generalise. The hotel in Vietnam (HM boutique hotell) was not good. Good location but they spoke hardly any english and the breakfast was poor. Few seats as well. Motorbikes in the reception etc. The others were good. The TTC in Gan Tho was nice but not a five star hotell. Generally the beds were excellent. Quit noicy around the Hoi An Beach resort hotell - startung six in the morning wirh music and...Read More dancing.

* RESTAURANT:
Same here, very different at different places. First lunch in Hanoi - not nice at all. It was could inside, undrinkable wine and the food did not taste much plus late lunch. Lunch, dinner, brunch at boat in Ha long was very nice. Good, friendly, nice atmosphere. Lunch in Hue and Hoi An was good and tasty. Quite late here as well. In Ho Chi Min City it was awful. Prepared in adwance, dry chicken and we ate in a empty room not a restaurant. In My Tho and the islands we had a nice and welltasting lunch. The last day in Can Tho we had a very strange (local) lunch, many dishes but not so welltasting. Friendly atmosphere though. Breakfast good except in Hanoi. Hard to get good coffe. We could have had som coffebreaks during the morning ”sessions”, it became long time before lunch sometimes at 2 pm and we had early pick-ups.

* TOUR:
Also different among different drivers and tours. Generally they were very good drivers. The pick-up times was punctually almost always. Driving back from Can Tho the driver did not take the high-way and it took us four hours and half to get to the hotell. The driving speed was 50-60 km. And we were all tired and wanted to get back to the hotel as soon as possible.

* TOUR GUIDE:
Same here. Big difference among them. We had six different guides. All very ambitious, friendly etc. But some had a very strange accent so it was hard to understand their english - especially i Ha Long and Cu chi tunnels. You lost a lot in translation.

* TOUR ITINERARY:
