  • Day 1 Arrive Hue (L, D)
    • You will be collected from Phu Bai Airport and driven to visit the Imperial Citadel the once grand complex where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between the years of 1802 and 1945. Fierce battles left much of the complex in ruins, however, there is still a lot to see. Today you will visit Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. You will enjoy a dinner cruise and night boat trip accompanied by the sound of Hue folks songs. You will stay overnight in a the hotel.
  • Day 2 Hue - Hamburger Hill (B, L, D)
    • After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive into Ashau Valley via Highway No.14, stopping over at some significant military sites such as Camp Eagles and Firebases Birmingham and A Luoi. You will have lunch at a local restaurant. You can then view Hamburger Hill and with the chance of an unofficial meeting with local veterans. You will have dinner and spend the night in A Luoi.
  • Day 3 Aluoi - DMZ (B, L, D)
    • After breakfast, you will drive up Highway No.9 towards the North, stopping over in Da Krong Bridge, Lang Vei Special Forces Camp, Khe Sanh Base, Cam Lo, Rockpile and Camp Carrol. Your guide will be able to provide you with information about the roles each place played during the war. You will stop for lunch in a local restaurant along the way. Tonight, you will have dinner and spend the night in Dong Ha.
  • Day 4 DMZ - Hue (B, L, D)
    • Following breakfast at the hotel you will travel to the DMZ (Demilitarize Zone), 17th parallel, Ben Hai River which was once the dividing line between North and South Vietnam and Hien Luong Bridge which stretches over it. You will also visit Vinh Moc Tunnel and the evocative Quang Tri Citadel which saw many fierce battles during the war. You will have lunch and dinner at local restaurant before returning to Hue via Highway No.1. You will stay overnight in Hue.
  • Day 5 Hue Sightseeing (B, L, D)
    • Breakfast at the hotel will be followed by boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River to visit Hue’s best-known religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda. This is a good chance for you to see the daily life of local people living along Perfume River. You will then visit the royal tombs of Emperor Minh Mang and Tu Duc, two different yet equally as fascinating sites. Both lunch and dinner will be served in a local restaurant, giving you the chance to enjoy some Hue cuisine. You will stay overnight in the Duy Tan hotel in Hue.
  • Day 6 Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B, L, D)
    • Breakfast at the hotel, your adventure will take you to dizzying heights as you drive over the famous Hai Van Pass. You will stop over at Lang Co Beach, folowed by a city tour of Da Nang including the grounds of former US Consulate, the Cham Museum, Marble Mountain and China beach. You will then stop for lunch before enjoying a tour of Hoi An in the afternoon. You will take a cyclo tour of the ancient town centre to visit the Chinese Assembly Halls, the Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and Tan Ky House. You will have dinner and stay overnight in Hoi An.
  • Day 7 Hoi An (B, L)
    • After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a half-day trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. My Son was an imperial city during the Cham dynasty, between the 4th and 12th centuries. It is made up of a large complex of religious relics all artistically crafted from red bricks. You will then travel to Da Nang Airport for you return flight.
