Des plaines du Tonkin à la province sauvage et isolée de Ha Giang, cet itinéraire traverse les diverses cultures ethniques du nord du pays. Lacs, rivières, jungles, rizières et hauteurs vertigineuses des montagnes. Mr Linh's Adventures propose cette boucle du Nord pour une rencontre intime avec le Vietnam.

  • Jour 1: Hanoï - Parc national de Ba Be (Déj/Dîn) ≈ 235km
    • Nous quittons Hanoi tôt pour atteindre notre première destination. Nous allons privilégier les petites routes secondaires pour ce trajet, serpentant le long des forêts et des vallées. Les paysages sont sauvages après la ville de Thai Nguyen. Déjeuner sur la route.
      Arrivée à Cho Ra en début d'après-midi, et une traversée en bateau vous attend au port de Buoc Lom. Vous continuerez ensuite à visiter le village de Ban Cam de l'ethnie Tay situé sur la rive. Ensuite, le bateau vous emmènera au village de Dau Dang, également un village Tay. Nuit près des cascades chez notre ami Ong Pirate, le chef de la jungle.

  • Jour 2: Parc national de Ba Be (P-Déj/Déj/Dîn)
    • Une journée complète pour profiter du parc national. Le matin nous partons pour une promenade au bord de la rivière Nang jusqu'aux cascades de Dau Dang. Nous revenons pour prendre un bateau pour traverser la rivière Nang et commencer la randonnée à travers les collines.
      Pendant la marche, nous traversons plusieurs villages et rendons visite à nos amis H’mong, Dao, Tay perdus dans la forêt. Nous atteignons enfin le lac de Ba Be où un bateau nous attend. Ensuite, nous traversons le lac pour rejoindre le village de Coc Toc et nous reposer. Nous passons la nuit chez Mr Linh sur les bords du lac.

  • Jour 3: Parc national de Ba Be - Bao Lac (P-Déj/Déj/Dîn) ≈ 180km
    • Départ matinal pour une belle et longue balade sur une petite route facile qui a récemment remplacé un chemin de terre. Le paysage change à mesure que nous escaladons la montagne. Entre les cols de montagnes, la circulation est presque inexistante. Nous traversons le territoire des Tay Noir, Doa, H’Mong et San Chi, pour finir dans la zone ethnique Lo Lo. Selon le jour de la semaine, nous pourrons visiter le marché ethnique de Bao Lac.

  • Jour 4: Bao Lac - Meo Vac - Dong Van (P-Déj/Déj/Dîn) ≈ 120km
    • L'une des promenades les plus étonnantes au Vietnam le long de la frontière chinoise. Beaucoup de passages de montagne incroyables, de vallées et de territoires ethniques.

  • Jour 5: Dong Van - Ha Giang (P-Déj/Déj/Dîn) ≈ 150km
    • Très belle étape dans les hauteurs de la province de Ha Giang, le long de la Chine. Traversée de cols, de vallées, de nombreuses zones aux cultures différentes. Nous rencontrerons entre autres plusieurs villages de nos amis Hoa, Pu Peo et Phu. C'est aussi l'occasion de voir quelques vestiges de constructions françaises datant de la colonosation tel que le palais du roi H'mong et son atmosphère mystique. Nuit à l'hôtel.

  • Jour 6: Ha Giang - Hoang Su Phi (P-Déj/Déj/Dîn) ≈ 90km
    • Vous traverserez le col de Cong Troi offrant un panorama magnifique avant d'arriver à Hoang Su Phi dans l'après-midi. Nous aurons le temps pour une promenade à la découverte des environs avant d'être accueillis par nos amis dans le lodge. Confort, bons repas et vue magnifique avec rivière forestière et jardins.

  • Jour 7: Hoang Su Phi - Xin Man - Bac Ha (P-Déj/Déj/Dîn) ≈ 100km
    • Nous alternerons entre routes et pistes pour traverser des zones reculées du nord du pays. Les paysages changent tous les 15km et nous croiserons en route de nombreuses cultures ethniques différentes: Dao Blanc et Rouge, Tay, Cao Lan, H’mong Fleuris, Lo Lo et environ 8 autres groupes ethniques (le Vietnam compte 54 groupes ethniques au total). Nuit à l'hôtel.

  • Jour 8: Bac Ha - Luc Yen (P-Déj/Déj/Dîn) ≈ 130km
    • Matinée détente où vous aurez le temps d'apprécier un peu plus l'endroit, puis nous repartirons par une belle route après le déjeuner.
      Entre petites collines couvertes de plantations de thé et sommets karstiques, nous rejoignerons Luc Yen en début d'après-midi. Dîner et nuit à l'hôtel.

  • Jour 9: Luc Yen - Vu Linh (P-Déj/Déj/Dîn) ≈ 80km
    • Si nous n’avons pas eu l'occasion d'y aller la veille, nous pourrons commencer la journée par aller visiter le village Dao Rouge et y rencontrer les habitants. Sinon départ pour Vu Linh par une belle petite route, toujours au milieu des pics calcaires et des palmiers. Nous passerons le long des rives du lac puis redescendons pour longer ses fjords jusqu'au village de Vu Linh.
      Nous sommes les bienvenus dans une superbe maison sur pilotis par nos amis Dao juste au bord du lac. Selon l'heure et le temps, nous pourrons louer un bateau pour partir en croisière sur le lac paisible et, espérons-le, profiter d'un des plus beaux couchers de soleil du voyage sur les trois mille îlots de cet immense lac. Arrivée vers 18h.

  • Jour 10: Vu Linh - Green Vietnam (P-Déj/Déj/Dîn) ≈ 80km
    • Nous allons vers l'ouest jusqu'à Tuyen Quang, puis vers le nord jusqu'au 'Green Vietnam', un projet écologique géré par une famille agricole vietnamienne dynamique. Nous passerons la nuit dans une maison sur pilotis au cœur d'un extraordinaire jardin d'arbres fruitiers. C’est l’occasion de découvrir et de participer au développement d’un projet unique au Vietnam. Arrivée vers 18h.

    • Matinée tranquille avec nos amis du 'Green Vietnam' pour profiter du site et visiter les environs avant de reprendre la route pour rentrer à Hanoï.

My wife and I just completed a 10-day trek with Mr Linh's Adventures, traveling in the Ha Giang region of North Vietnam, staying in a combination of homestays and hotels, trekking through minority villages, rice paddies, markets, etc. The trip was excellently organized, our guide was knowledgeable, our driver (when needed) was safe, the views were stunning, the food very tasty and the accommodations distinctly memorable, friendly and comfortable. Amazing tour
Review of: Northern Loop Adventure 11 days 10 nights
We recently booked a 10 day tour of the north of Vietnam (Sapa & further north) with Mr Linh Adventures. We wanted something “off the beaten track”, private tour and we wanted to leave the next day - a tall request. We found Mr Linh Adventures office on Ma May street. We explained our requirements to Mr Linh, the owner of the company who quickly put together an excellent itinerary for the 10 ten days. The next morning we were collected by Linh our tour guide (not to be mistaken for Mr Linh the owner) and Bao our driver - the car was of excellent condition. We started at Hanoi and headed for Sapa, our first stop and then headed onwards for the next 10 days following the intinerary set out. We stayed in various homestays and hotels that were prefixed by the company. Some were more authientic than others but all provided a wonderful host service and the food was excellent at each place.
Our Tour guide Linh spoke excellent english and is highly informative in all areas. Linh knowledge of his country was second to none (this may have something to do with him also being a history teacher) and he was always happy to take the time to share all the information with us, from the local food that he would source out for us (we ate delicious food for the 10 days due to Linh and Bao knowing the best places to eat) to history of the caves, lakes, rice fields, minority people and their traditions and so on. An excellent tour guide that exceeded all our expectations. Linh takes exceptional care of his clients and provides you with a great sense of care while never over stepping his professional role – a fine balance indeed for a tour guide and someone you are sharing 10 days with that you had never met before.
While we met other travelers along the way with other tour guides, each had complained about their tour guide for one reason of another, so we understood how lucky we were to have Linh, who clearly outshone the other guides. Ling knows his job extremely well and we were very thankful for this.
Our driver Bao, is an exceptional driver who knows his job very well. Bao knows how to drive to ensure his clients felt safe (which we did) at all times even when the roads and routes were very tricky.
Throughtout the trip, we can sincereyly say that Ling and Bao made our time so much more special!
If you ever find yourself in Hanoi I would highly recommend anyone to book Linh and Bao for a trip up north. Read Less

Incredible trip through north Vietnam!

My parter and I went on a 10 day trekking tour through the Ha Giang provence and Ba Be National Park with guide Mr Long and driver Mr Nam and had a fantastic time!! Firstly the scenery and views were spectacular whether we were on foot or driving in the car. Our guide Mr Long was excellent; he spoke good english, knew the area very well and took us to some excellent spots that not many others know about. The food was great - we ate heaps and a huge range of things. There was a great range of accommodation from home stays to hotels, always clean and welcoming.
